Player of the Month: North

“I hope North gets as much out of training as I do when working with him.”
— Coach Blake

Since day one, North hasn’t ever said much. However, don’t let that make you think he isn’t listening. He’s always taking it all in and waiting to dominate everything that comes his way.

When he first stepped into the building, he had a rough couple of weeks adjusting after being away from baseball for such a long period. I knew we needed to take a different approach.

Rather than throwing 2–3 things at him at once, the big unlock was building his confidence one step at a time. Since then, he has been balling out at his tryouts and has picked up more than ever before.

“North is one of those kids who just gets it. He has a bright future ahead of him. Really excited to see where he decides to go.”
